MEET THE TEAM

Homegrown. Because we are. Our collective is made up of individual business owners with strong ties to this community. We passed through its schools, churches, ballfields, downtown streets and tobacco fields on our way to adulthood. Now we stand as the next generation, building our businesses and raising our families.

Curated. Because we have put in the hours to develop and hone our crafts. We are proud to be in the business of bringing people home. Let our experience work for you.

ANNA POWELL
REAL ESTATE

Proudly Brokered by eXp Realty, I am a proud native of Fuquay-Varina. Following graduation from Elon University in 2011, I spent the following five years working in the performing arts in the small coastal community of Beaufort, South Carolina. As a small business owner, and community advocate for the arts, I developed a skill set that has translated into serving my customers in the local real estate market. Passionate about the State of North Carolina and its people, I am thrilled to be working in the place I am so proud to call home.

Outside of the office, Anna is an advocate of the Billfish Foundation, supporting her love of fishing both inshore and offshore. When she can't get to the salt water, you can find her wakeboarding or waterskiing on local lakes. Together with her husband, Robbie, they are raising three boys and passing on their love for the water to the next generation.

We can't wait to introduce you to our family and welcome you as part of ours!

LINDSEY KINTON
KINTON INTERIORS

Owner of Kinton Interiors, Lindsey Kinton, has over 20 years of experience in the building  industry and 10+ years in interior design. Graduating with a BA from Peace College in public relations and advertising, Lindsey is grateful for the relationships she continues to establish with  both clients and subcontractors. Her roots in Wake county go back generations to familiar road names like “Optimist Farm” and “Mann’s Loop” named after her family members.  Alongside her own design company, she maintains a design role with a production building company her father began 10+ years ago after moving their family to Fuquay from Kinston in 1994.

Some of her first and forever friends in Fuquay were made that year in the fifth grade. Lindsey’s fondest memories are from Fuquay High School and Fuquay Baptist Church where she met the majority of GLC’s team. Supporting local businesses is important to Lindsey as her husband, Adam, also a Fuquay native, owns a second-generation local business. They understand the importance of pouring into the community at every level. Lindsey constantly seeks to find design inspiration through  travel, antiques, art & fashion. At home, Lindsey enjoys her beloved dog, Tillie, cooking anything by Ina Garten, entertaining and gardening.

KATY ANDERSON
GREENE WOOD HOMES

Born and raised in Wake county, Katy moved to Fuquay-Varina in 1990. Raised in the building industry, Katy’s first memory is filing papers and counting screws at Stock Building Supply as an elementary schooler. She graduated ECU in 2006 with a BA in Public Relations/Business and then again in 2008 with a MA in International Studies after living abroad. Following graduation, Katy opened her own retail store, Jaq Jill, in New Bern, NC

Following multiple relocations between Fuquay and eastern NC, she landed in real estate administration and became a  Realtor in 2017. Katy has been in either the lumber, retail and/or real estate industries for 20 years bringing varied knowledge bases to the GLC group. Opening Greene Wood Homes, a staging company, was a natural move after deciding to focus her real estate efforts on  coordinating transactions for Anna Powell Real Estate and preparing listings for market. She  enjoys making spaces beautiful, clean and functional. Katy is part-owner, GM and buyer for Gold Leaf Collective at Home, a home decor and gift shop slated to open in Fall of 2021 in  downtown Varina. At home, Katy enjoys spending time with husband Jamie and daughter  Waverly and being anywhere near the water.
